Challenging Dot to Dot 1-200
An advanced dot-to-dot puzzle with 200 dots for older kids who love a challenge.
This printable is being prepared and will appear here shortly.
Purpose & benefits
Dot-to-dot puzzles are counting practise in disguise. Kids love the surprise of watching a picture appear, and they get fine motor practise at the same time.
This connect-the-dots worksheet gives Reception and Grade 1 learners a satisfying puzzle to solve. They follow the number sequence, connecting each dot to the next, until the finished picture reveals itself.
How to use this worksheet
Have your child start at number 1 and connect the dots in order. Say each number out loud as they go. If they lose their place, work backwards from where they got stuck to find where they went off track. Once they finish, they can colour in the picture.
💡 Tip: Sit with your child during the first few questions to make sure they understand the instructions, then let them work independently.
About this worksheet
Dot to dot is more than a puzzle
Dot-to-dot pages might look like just a game, but they are a solid maths activity. Kids practise number order, counting, and pencil control at the same time. When the picture appears at the end, they get an instant reward that makes them want to do another one.
This dot-to-dot worksheet gives Reception and Grade 1 students that magic moment of watching a picture emerge from numbered dots. Aligned with US Common Core and UK EYFS number frameworks. Print on standard paper. Once your student finishes, ask them to colour the picture for extra fine motor practise.
